Zac Rae; Los Angeles based pianist, keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist. Currently a member of the band Death Cab for Cutie. Zac also works extensively as a session musician and has played with the likes of Alanis Morrissette, Alessia Cara, Lana Del Rey, Sara Bareilles, John Legend and so many more. His musical talents have also been included in film scores and soundracks including recent work featured in Pixar's Turning Red.

Zac joins My Pop Five to break down The Traveling Wilbury's, Volume 1, John Woo's: The Killer, Pearblossom Highway, The Boy Detective Fails, and Thelonious Monk. Zac tells the stories of how the varying pieces of art have impacted him at some of the most impactful moments in his life. We also hear about the ways that varying mediums, even those outside of music, have shaped him to be the person and musician that he is today.
